Prostate massage: pleasure, remedy
Although sex is no longer a taboo topic, it seems that there is relatively little knowledge about the male G-spot – the prostate. Within the tantric world, the prostate is known as the man’s emotional sex center, which, when stimulated, releases both sexual and emotional tensions, thereby allowing a man to become more centered in his life. The stimulation of the prostate, whether in conjunction with stimulation of the penis or not, can create greater sexual arousal and larger quantities of semenal fluid.
The prostate holds the fluids that are ejaculated during orgasm, and the massage of the prostate can create a stronger, more intense orgasm. Located adjacent to the anterior rectal wall, the prostate is stimulated through the anus, with either a finger or a massage device.
Because stimulation of the penis must be done through the anus, the discourse on sexual arousal through prostate massage has been limited. Men are oftentimes skeptical of engaging in prostate massage because being penetrated in this way can seem threatening and uncomfortable. However, once educated on the proper way to receive prostate massage and the enormous health and sexual benefits that come along with it, many men find that they are able to achieve limitless sexual pleasure.
“I was curious about prostate massage to begin with, but since I didn’t know how it worked or what I would even have to do, I avoided it,” says William Moore, an engineer in Los Angeles. “What I discovered through research was that the skepticism that comes along with prostate massage mostly has to do with fear of the unknown. Once I learned about the proper technique and then the enormous benefits of doing prostate massage, that skepticism disappeared.”
Besides sexual pleasure, prostate massage can help to ease the uncomfortable and often painful effects of chronic prostatitis, which is otherwise treated through invasive medical procedures. Besides the physical pain of prostatitis, the disease can also wreak havoc on relationships because of the toll it takes on the male’s sexual functioning.
Eric Owens of Tuscon, Arizona, noticed that his wife was increasingly withdrawn because of his inability to participate sexually. “It wasn’t that I didn’t want to have sex, because I did – it was just that I was in so much pain, and I just couldn’t function.”
Over time, Owens began to look into his options – surgery and medication – before stumbling upon information on prostate massage. He ordered a device called the Dr.Erector, which is specifically designed to allow the user to perform gentle prostate self-massage. Prostate massage devices are generally the circumference of a finger, with a curved head to heighten the effectiveness of the massage.
After using the massage device, Owens was pleased to discover that his pain was eased and that he was able to enjoy fulfilling sex with his wife. Owens says, “I truly believe that it would be a great service to men if more educational information were available about prostate massage.”
